Supporting adults of all ages through major life transitions, identity shifts, relationship challenges, career changes, grief, and loss — with care that is both steady and rigorous.
All emotional suffering — and all healing — happens in relationship.
The wound is the place where the light enters you.Rumi
For over two decades, I have worked with individuals and couples navigating the experiences that most profoundly test us — relationship rupture, navigating early adulthood, grief, loss, midlife transition, and the complex emotions that so often accompany major life change. My practice is built on the belief that these moments, as painful as they are, also carry the possibility of deep transformation.
My approach is rooted in a fundamental truth about human psychology: all emotional suffering, and all healing, happens in relationship — with ourselves, with our past, and with the people we love. This conviction shapes everything about how I work.
Rather than applying a single methodology, I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, always in service of what each person actually needs. The goal is not simply symptom relief, but lasting change — a genuinely different relationship with yourself and those in your life.
Clients consistently describe therapy with me as feeling both safe enough to explore difficult places, and rigorous enough to actually get somewhere.
Most people arrive at therapy believing something is wrong with them that needs to be fixed. I invite a different starting point — one of curiosity rather than self-judgment, and of compassion rather than criticism.
My work draws from a range of evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, always tailored to the individual, and grounded in the conviction that healing happens in relationship: with ourselves, with our past, and with the people around us.

The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.Joseph Campbell
Patterns from our families of origin, unspoken needs, early experiences of rupture or abandonment — these don't disappear when we enter a relationship. They show up in it, often in ways that feel confusing or disproportionate in the moment. What looks like a conflict about communication is frequently something older and deeper being played out between two people who genuinely care about each other.
My work with couples focuses on two things: helping you recognize the patterns that are keeping you stuck, and building the communication tools and emotional fluency to replace them. This is not about assigning blame. It is about creating enough safety and clarity that both people can be honest — and heard.
Couples therapy may be a good fit if you are navigating:
Group work brings together a small number of people navigating a shared experience, guided by a trained therapist in a structured setting. What makes it powerful is the recognition that you are not alone — carefully curated cohorts, intentionally sized for depth and real transformation.
A space for women in the middle of everything — questioning, redefining, and reimagining what comes next. This group explores the identity shifts, relationship changes, and inner reckonings midlife brings, in the company of women who understand.
A rare opportunity for men to explore the questions midlife surfaces — about identity, purpose, relationships, and what it means to live more fully — in a setting that is honest, confidential, and surprisingly powerful.
Your late 20’s and 30’s bring some of life’s most consequential decisions — who to commit to, where to plant roots, whether the career you chose still fits, how to navigate the shifting terrain of family relationships as a full-fledged adult in the world. The weight of those choices, and the uncertainty that surrounds them, can feel intense and overwhelming. This group offers the space and support to move through that uncertainty with greater clarity, confidence, and meaning.
I'd be glad to hear from you. I offer sessions in Beverly Hills and by telehealth.
